Moorestown Travel Basketball has a new home on the web! The new Moorestown Youth Basketball website is at

Travel Tryout Registration

Moorestown Youth Basketball Association sponsors teams for:

Boys:   Grades 4-8
Girls:   Grades 5-8

In person registration to tryout for these teams will be at the New Albany Recreation Center on New Albany Road (next to playground at Jeff Young Park) on the following dates and times. Tryout forms will also be available at the Recreation Department on Lenola Road
after October 1.

Thursday, October 1:   7:00-8:30 pm
Saturday, October 3:   2:00-4:00 pm

Tryouts will be the week of October 12.

Tryouts forms will also be available on this website after October 1. If you are unable to come to the in person registration please return your completed tryout form to the Moorestown Recreation Department.

C'mon, you know you ALWAYS dreamed about being Keith Jackson, or Brent Musberger announcing a major college football game. Well, now is your chance!

MYFA is looking for gameday announcers for the upcoming season for all Turf Games. We will need volunteers for each division for both Varsity and JV games.

A few perks:

1. Best seat in the house.
2. You get to play LOUD music. (Our PA system goes up to 11!)
3. Free Admission to all games!
4. You can control the scoreboard!

Don't worry, I will train you. If interested, please email Kevin O'Sullivan at , let me know which division(s) your child is playing in. We do not have the final schedule yet but I will work with you on your availibility.

MYFA 2009 REFUND POLICY

If any registrant stops playing on their assigned team before August 3rd, 2009 (the first day of practice), MYFA will refund them 100% of the paid registration fee. Any registrant is only eligible for this 100% refund if they notify a board member or coach of their intent to stop playing via email or in writing, and prior to August 3rd, the date of the first official practice.

If any registrant stops playing on their assigned team after August 3rd but before August 28th, 2009, MYFA will refund them $100 from their registration fee. Any registrant is only eligible for this $100 refund if they notify a board member or coach of their intent to stop playing via email or in writing, and between August 3rd and August 27th, inclusive.

No refund is available to any registrant who stops playing on or after August 28th, 2009.
